If Ai uses your content in any capacity, you should be paid handsomely. I don't know what that number is, but it's the right thing to do. High-powered ai crafted content should bring an equal amount of compensation. That would make creators feel more at ease. There needs to be more tracking of data from AI so that every output that Gemini puts out, there will be a value placed on its usage. I did watch the entire presentation by the way, but there is one thing that I didn't notice until I saw your video. Rewatching the part where google steps in and stops the phone call is now a bit creepier to me. We all know Google listens to you (they all do), but this is just that one-step-further thing where they are not only listening in on your phone calls, they are stepping in and going 'no no no I CONTROL the conversation now'. Used in the capacity to stop scam calls is pretty useful. Especially for the elderly which is a real problem. But thinking about the use-cases where you are having a very private conversation and Google outright listening in and potentially TAKING ACTION is very concerning. Where does the data go? That's messed up.

Is there anything in your settings about public WiFi networks? There are sometimes settings about notifying and connecting to public networks. I have optimum here and fortunately i dont have that problem.

I suggest naming a wifi network or hotspot as optimum and seeing if your phone tries connecting to it.

I'd watch you get some basic war driving gear and see if you can find anything.

I'd edit the network config for optimum so it's "metered", this will stop your phone from preferring it.

It most likely is just a ISP changing their name. Maybe you did connect to them and just don’t remember and they’re changing the name but then again, I recommend just clicking forget also turn on airplane mode for a few minutes and turn it off.

What I recommend doing is going and trying to turn off the phone and turn it back on. See if that works. I’m pretty sure you’ve already done it, but tried to clear the Cash.

Has anyone used msi afterburner on arm processors? I mainly interested in overclocking the cpu and gpu since I use msi afterburner with every gaming windows device even with non msi devices. I maxed out the cpu and gpu sliders intentionally when I overclock the cpu and gpu and I always max out the ram speeds on purpose with xmp. For my 4k high end gaming pc from 2019 for my ddr4 ram is set to xmp with 4000 mhz with the g skills trident z royal with the latency at 17 with the timings at 17-17-17-37 with 32gb of 4 sticks of ram. I really wanted the 4600 mhz g skills trident z royal samsung b die ram since my motherboard maxes out at 4600 mhz but only 16gb of samsung b die ram was only available and I wanted 32gb of samsung b die ram specifically for overclocking the ram and because 16gb of ram is not enough. I use the intel core i9-9900k desktop cpu with the msi godlike motherboard, noctua nh-d15 cpu cooler and evga 2080 ti ftw 3. I also have 3 samsung 970 evo plus nvme ssds, 2 samsung 860 evo sata ssds and a seasonic prime titanium 1,000 watt power supply. The 11gb of vram is not enough on the 2080 ti.

Still have one of the first edition of a Huawei phone. Indestructible phone . It never gave up and always works. I thought to uodate , but the quality of iPhones is just horrible. Screens brakes easy , charging port causes many problems , batteries dont last very long , does not work in heat , cold or to much humidity. Never ever i would by an iphone again . Unfortunately the Huawei brand is boycot by the Canadian government

There needs to be a sort of compatibility layer, like Rosetta, for Windows on arm. The old driver situation would be a series problem too if that wasn’t included in some sort of compatibility layer.

I got a ACEMAGIC S1 and was going through for a jellyfin setup and then all these videos starting popping for the malware :(. So I wipe and installed a clean OS. Updated the router firm ware and such. ITs a great machine but this put a bad taste in my mouth for ACEMAGIC machines now.

With respect to music, back in 2011, I was telling people that the recording industry should develop a system that tags the stems for all of the music in their catalogue measure by measure with metadata. Then make the stems available for purchase at the retail level. The metadata would allow them to track in real time how people were remixing, reusing, and deploying published creative content. This would also allow them to meter and gauge just how much should be paid in royalties if the finished product was sold commercially and met the requirements for such royalty payments as well. People didn't understand what I was talking about back then. Now they've missed the boat as that data has been turned into vector databases and used in AI training for this new variation on digitally created music.

If in doubt, run kaspersky live cd it can find and remove those pesky hidden PUAs in winre,esp and firmware(sometimes stored in ESP/winre). Eset sysrescue was my go to iso but it's EOL. Bitdefender iso is a hit or miss with false positive or black screen while booting certain efi. I found emsisoft emergency kit better than malwarebytes.

Well i do agree with him that a phone might be enough for video editing i would still prefer my ARM Tablet mostly for screen size is helpful for video editing and 3D modeling. The difference from 1 L40 and whatever Qualcomm has on their SoC for video editing is huge for video encoding but for video editing it will be the same. You go from minutes on a L40 to maybe hours on the Qualcomm SoC. The down side is the L40 GPU draws more power at 350Watts when under 100% load and has to be in a PCie gen 4 x16 electrical and physical slot for it to be fully utilized or you are just leaving performance behind. Now when you get back down to what people who have to mind how much money they are spending like a RTX 4070 and below i do agree with him the newest software on an ARM processor can encode videos quicker though with less encoding options. For RUclips it will have enough options same for Twitch as they share the same supported video support. So it goes to where you want to use non-standard video encoding with non-standard audio encoding for whatever reason. VLC and MLC are good with decoding those videos but RUclips and Twitch are not. The iPhone and Android just will not allow you to do so forcing you to use the standard settings. Now for like the majority of tasks the avg consumer does ARM is good enough to do them with a few modifications for the user to make as it is windows for ARM not windows for x86. Mostly get the ARM version of software not the x86 version of it.
